Sky is a photographer living in Leesburg, Virginia, with her husband, Tom.

Sky grew up in the Republic of Panama, which made a lifelong impression on her and gave her a deep understanding of people who are much less fortunate than she.

In the 1950s, Sky’s parents became the guardian of a Guiami Indian baby boy, whom they brought to the United States with the blessing of his parents.  Though this is a regular occurrence now, it was very unusual back then.

Growing up in Panama also gave Sky a sense of adventure and curiosity for other cultures and people.  So, when Mark invited her to join him in Haiti as the group photographer, she was delighted, though nervous to join what was a daunting and rigorous trip.  Sky continues to be inspired by the dedication and hard work of Changing Latitudes on behalf of the Haitians and Guatemalans.
